I came into the world at 11lbs. So obesity has always been a part of my life. Over the years I have excelled in is sports and I have always been active and have used size to my advantage. However, as I got older my weight sky rocketed. And I struggled with depression after the passing of my mother in 2009. In 2014 I reached 650lbs and I decided to change my life for myself and for my family. Since I started my healthy journy I have lost over 140lbs plus my strength is steadily increasing. I have worked with several trainers along my journey but Arthur is the only one to take me under his wing and considered me as family. Fitness is defiantly a journey, but my moto is “No Excuses” and it takes allot of sacrifice….and work for you to WIN! Thanks Art

Before meeting Arthur Shivers III, the words “gym and workout” did not exist in my vocabulary. I came to Art with the goal of improving my circulation. Through my life I have had a few medical setbacks. I am a 10 year cancer survivor. I do not have a whole set of lungs which make it difficult to breathe and I have lost the use of my legs on two separate occasions. Needless to say I began training with Arthur for medical reasons. I spend allot of time with my beautiful grand children and they are very energetic and I want to be able to keep up with them. I also strive to live a heather lifestyle and revisit some of my favorite outfits. Just under a year later I am down over 30lbs and 18inches. My energy level has sky rocketed and my co-workers are all envious of my new physique. And I still have more goals to reach. G3 fitness has changed my life and I am proud to be a part of the G3 family!

Meeting Arthur Shivers has been amazing life changing experience. I was a heavy smoker with knee and back problems. I was also a borderline diabetic. I have achieved so many goals in 12 months. I am 50 pounds lighter my knee and back pain is gone, and smoking is a thing of the past. Arthur has taught me how to be physically stronger as well as mentally and to never give up, I've learned to eat healthier, I have a more positive attitude about getting older, but the most important thing Arthur taught me was to believe in myself and my achievements, Arthur was definitely the voice and teacher I need to learn my own abilities and strengths...MUCH LOVE!!!!!

Joining G3 Fitness in June of 2016 and choosing Mr. Shivers to be my trainer was the best thing that I could

have done for myself. From the first time I walked into the door I knew that Art was going to be the one to help

me get into shape, eat right and keep the weight off! Me being more of a sight person, I came with no set goal

weight that I wanted to get down to and I had no clue how much weight that I wanted to lose (I really don’t like

stepping on the scale). I told all of this information to Art and he told me that that he would take care of me and

that’s exactly what he did.
